This family film session was over three months in the making. Elyse’s mom had a stroke while we were planning the session the first time, so understandably we had to put it off until her mom stabilized and got the care she needed. Elyse told me her mom had been wanting photos of their family with 10-month-old Henry, and had been asking them to get pictures since he was born. Isn’t it crazy how little things like photos don’t seem that important until something life-changing happens?
I was glad to hear back from Elyse after a few months, and also happy that her mom was recovering slowly but surely. We scheduled the session at Magnuson Park one sunny morning. Henry had a lot of fun but got tired out towards the end, as you can see in the last photo. Tired is beautiful, too, especially when kisses and snuggles are involved.
For filmies: Pentax 645n + Portra 800 + HP5.
