As a family photographer in Seattle, one of my greatest joys is being invited into your home, your sanctuary where the magic and frustration and joy of raising your little kidlets happens. It is truly such a meaningful and powerful experience, to document you how I see you doing the thing you do in this tiny little moment of time. Do you remember those funny e-cards that pop up in your Facebook feed sometimes with the funky pop-art colors and black-and-white sketches with snarky sayings? My favorite – because it’s hilarious and also a bit true was this one for photographers: “I make people immortal. What’s your superpower?”.
In this fast-moving world that’s going to keep going faster until somedays, it seems like it’s spinning out of control and you with it, don’t forget to take a record of your life in this one moment. You will cherish it always and so will your kids.
