The pictures taken by Kim of my infant daughter caught all of her many emotions and make observers feel like they know what she was thinking, but my favorites are the ones of us together. I initially just wanted photos of her and was really hesitant to be in the photos. I was so tired and didn’t feel like myself. I felt gross. Mini Maternity Sessions are 30 minutes at a location that feels like home or in my Coeur d’Alene studio. Short & sweet, these sessions celebrate the beauty of motherhood with timeless, elegant portraits.

The Newborn Session Process
01 BEFORE
We schedule a quick chat and talk about your due date, how a newborn session works, and when to schedule your newborn shoot. If we are a good fit, we book the session and I help you prep along the way.
02 DURING
I show up and we go through our game plan. If you have older kids, we laugh and whisper and get shots with big brother or sister first. We take lots of breaks and relax and get a variety of natural and artistic photos.
03 AFTER
I will invite you to view your personal online gallery and Shop. You watch a beautifully created slideshow, then pick your photo collection (all three collections include a certain amount of digital files.)
