My FIND Park City Experience : Part 1
This is my FIND Park City Experience Part 1. The end of September 2014, I attended one of Jonathan Canlas’ last FIND workshops in Park City, UT. FIND stands for Film Is Not Dead, and indeed he is right. In the past few years, with the help of Canlas and a few other well known photographers, film has been making a comeback. I was beyond thrilled when I was able to snag a seat for one of these last popular workshops.
Our small, fun group quickly got into a routine of business and film lectures, critiques and a whole spectrum of film conversations in the mornings, followed by lots of picture-taking in the afternoon. Everyone was eager to learn and experiment. We even got to go to the FIND Lab in Orem and meet the crew who develops and scans our negatives, an invaluable experience! We photographed couples, families, each other and Park City itself. Park City is beautiful!
So here is a little peek into what I captured at FIND on our personal shooting day in Park City. Two more posts will cover couples and families.

I hope you enjoyed learning more about my FIND Park City experience Part 1 and film photography in general! Interested in learning to shoot film? Grab my free Film Cheat Sheet!
