Photographing families with toddlers can be challenging, now that they’re moving fast and want to be anywhere but close to a big black camera. Matthew was no exception. I can’t believe how fast this little guy is growing up! It seems like just yesterday I took his newborn photos. I love seeing him grow and change and develop more of a personality with each visit. Luckily I still have a few tricks up my sleeve!
We met at Woodland Park one Saturday morning and the weather turned out perfectly. I think Woodland Park is one of the most beautiful under-utilized places for photos around Seattle. It has huge beautiful trees with nice open areas underneath, and several great locations whether you are shooting with the morning or afternoon light. And the best part? It has great spaces for toddlers to run around!
Regardless of the age, I’m passionate about capturing you in your element with your child at that moment in time.
