Family Is Home

(and includes fur-babies)

genuine, candid, and artistic family sessions

seattle family and newborn photogapher: mom smiling at camera with her arm wrapped around her standing son

Family sessions are my FAVORITE!  I love embracing the chaos that IS family life and capturing all your unique personalities in a beautiful , candid, yet imperfect way.  My favorite place to work with you is in the comfort of your home.  Through experience, I can tell you that kids are most comfortable (and genuine) at home and “perform” less.  (And don’t stress about the mess, the decor, or the lack of light.  I’ve got your back.)

Hiring a family photographer can be time-consuming and STRESSFUL.  I get it.  I’m a mom of two and I feel like I can barely keep up with my own life besides hire another photographer to photograph us, get my husband (and kids) on board, pick out *the perfect* outfit AND look good.  I sweat just thinking about it.  But having been in front of the camera several times, I’m here to tell you it’s worth it.  Kids grow up fast and you need to be in the photo with them.  They need to look back at the photos and see you snuggling them, laughing with them, and being real.  I’m also here to tell you I can help you through this whole process so it won’t 1) seem so daunting and 2) take all of your time.

“It takes a lot of courage to let people hear our hearts speak, but life is way too precious to spend it pretending like we’re super cool and totally in control when we could be laughing, singing, and dancing.” – Brené Brown
