Kim Hildebrand
While staying in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for a month (see my Camp Hildehayven project), I got to line up some mini-sessions with family friends. We met at beautiful Blackwell Island, and shot a quick 20-minute session with each of them. These are usually more posed, with more photos of subjects looking at the camera than I would shoot during a normal 1-hour session as most customers would like to use these for Christmas cards and gifts. I used film, and shot two rolls (32 photos total) with Kodak Portra 800 film, my favorite for outdoors. I just adore film and love how these captured light on my subjects!
