This was my first time meeting Ana, their one year old.  She had the most beautiful blue eyes, and couldn’t take her eyes off what her big sister was doing.  We met on a beautiful sunny September morning at Carkeek park and played for an hour.  Interesting fact:  this was the first family I used film with back a few years ago when their oldest was the same age – 1.  It’s weird to think back on that and how I was really nervous about whether or not the few rolls turned out, and to now know there’s simply no other way for me to shoot.  I am smitten just like they are. 🙂
