Meet Braden – less than a week old.  First child born to a fun, young, loving, beautiful couple.

As soon as this new family walked into my studio I knew we were going to have a great session.  Mom was so loving and calm and {seemed} well-rested.  How could this be?!  I don’t remember being this way at all with my first!  Dad was doting on baby and Mom and acted like he’d done this before.  As a result {plus throw in a few laid-back genes}, baby Braden was utterly relaxed, comfortable, and sleepy.  He slept though the session and was the perfect newborn model.  Oh, and did I mention the other bonuses – gorgeous dark features, no baby acne, and absolutely beautiful – just like his parents.  I had trouble narrowing down this gallery for you.  I had a chance to pose Braden several different ways alone and with his parents.  This was also my first time trying the baby sling on the branch pose.  As an FYI- I always put newborn safety first.  The sling photos are composite photos {two photos put together} as is the scale photo and head-on-hands photo.
